  The billing department is ripping any patient with a deductible off and very rude. The woman in charge of the billing department is rude, aggressive, and obnoxious. I called and was told there would be no charge for my visit but then was charged a copay and when I asked to speak to someone I was greeted by the unfriendly billing department manager. There is no way to have a normal conversation with this woman and I will be driving out of the way to go to another obgyn in the future.
  This billing department will tell anyone that has a deductible that they must pay the deductible to them up front before the birth of their child and then they do not file the claim until after the hospital has already filed for the birth so the customer's deductible is applied with the hospital. Carolina OBGYN then owes the customer a significant amount of money it was $793.00 in my case and I had to wait 2 months to receive this. This money that was owed to me from Carolina OBGYN was money I needed to actually pay my deductible to the hospital after giving birth.
  I have a doctor that I really like at this practice but unfortunately will no longer do business with them.
